"The long term benefits of a CMS education include: increased self-confidence, enthusiasm for learning, lengthened attention span, and a solid foundation for future academic endeavors."
CMS offers a Montessori Speaker Series and Morning Coffee events. These events engage parents in presentations/conversations regarding a wide variety of educational topics.
Other CMS happenings: Kindergarten trips to the zoo, Elementary spring plays and Talent Show, Elementary and Adolescent learning excursions into the wider St. Louis area, community service opportunities, trips to the symphony, and school wide celebrations such as Holidays Around the World.
Parent Involvement: "We have an active Parent Social Committee that plans fun activities for CMS families such as ice skating, camping, a bbq, etc. There are also events that are just for parents such as monthly dinners. The school sponsors several activities such as the International Grill Festival and the New Parent Mentoring program, in which parental help is greatly appreciated."
This school is amazing. It has taught my son how to be independent, work with all ages, and to love learning. The school will maximize your child's potential and start a fire inside your child that thrives on learning. It is expensive, but we feel it is important to build on his foundation of early education to give him the most chance for success in the future. My son is 3, potty-trained at 18 months, starting to recognize words, and amazes my friends and family with his vocabulary, confidence, politeness and happiness! Thank you to this wonderful school!
The best decision you could ever make for your child!Parent 11/24/2015
I don't need standard homework to show me how magnificent my kids are. Every day they come home from school at CMS the conversations they have with me, with each other, with other people are astounding. At the ages of eight and seven they are already critical thinkers. Creative. They are independent, and they take responsibility for their own education even at this young of an age. I am fully convinced that while part of that may come from how they are raised at home a huge amount of that comes from where they go to school.
