I have two children at Forsyth and they could not be happier. The teachers are so loving, and I am amazed at how well they understand my children; children who have such different needs. My kids love school and eagerly jump out of the car every morning. This school is a blessing to our family!
  • This Is It!Parent 10/21/2017
Both of my kids have loved Forsyth. They are very different students with different interests, yet the teachers are committed to supporting their individual needs. Forsyth challenges kids in a variety of ways, from academics to arts to athletics. Most importantly, they challenge kids to think critically... More
  • Best decision we have made for our childParent 10/12/2017
We started our daughter in Pre-K and love everything about this school. The 2 teacher classrooms allow the teachers to know each child personally and cheer their success as well as help when there is a challenge. My daughter loved her science classes (teachers) in Jr K and beyond, and they have offered... More

Teachers strive to design curriculum for needs of students. Each child is recognized for individual strengths and challenges. Community building creates a welcoming environment for everyone. Great place for families and students!
  • Worth ItParent 10/12/2017
After looking at the numerous Independent Schools in the area, I simply decided that the education my daughter would receive at Forsyth School is worth the money it costs. And, I have never looked back!
  • Wonderful!Parent 10/12/2017
There's nothing like Forsyth School! From the learning environments (students have class in old homes!) to the progressive education, Forsyth is a unique place. The school has a challenging curriculum and allows students to get out of their comfort zones. I can't say enough good things about this ... More

  • Just the bestParent 10/18/2016
We've had our kids at Forsyth since they were in Pre-K, and now they're in 2nd and 4th. We're so glad we chose to start them early, and they have developed such a strong sense of self. The school is all about "challenge," but it's done with a great support network. Academics come first, and the character-building... More
  • Amazing Elementary Education Parent 04/29/2016
The residential layout makes the school feel very special, but the focus is squarely on the quality of educators. The administration bends over backwards to put together a strong team that works well both within grades and across grades. As a result, children reach their maximum potential. The honor ... More

Forsyth offers incredibly engaging academic, physical, social experiences for students. The sense of community that fills the campus is truly unlike any other school I have ever been a part of. Teachers and faculty are dedicated and extremely knowledgeable about students and best practices.

Many Independent Schools can be found in the St. Louis area. Forsyth clearly stands out from the rest for many reasons. Check it out and see for yourself why it is worth it to us!

The Forsyth community has welcomed our daughter (and entire family) into the community. The school has a beautiful campus and the educators understand her strengths and weaknesses and work on improving both. What a gem!
  • One of a kind!Parent 11/11/2015
Forsyth is an incredible school where students learn to try and try again. Forsyth teachers firmly believe children learn when taking risks so they work incredibly hard to build classroom communities where children know that trying, and perhaps failing the first time, is safe and okay. As a result,... More

6th graders graduate believing they can do anything. They are advanced academically, they are secure, they develop a love for learning, and they have teachers who know them inside and out. The unique campus of converted homes and the proximity to Washington U make this place unique. For working parents... More
