  • A great fit for our kiddoParent 09/17/2015
We anticipated a lot of hassle trying to get our son enrolled but were pleasantly surprised at how easy it was. We watched the dates and timelines for getting on the lottery, testing, etc. and had no issues at all. They had several play-dates prior to the start of school so that the kids and parents ... More

We have loved Kennard for our children. When they got started we were just happy to have free schools that were functional and had transportation. Right away the teachers were so loving we knew we had so much more. After many years - with one child still there - we still feel the same. KCJA is a ... More

Kennard has been wonderful for my children. Yes, the process of getting in was a pain. Yes, SLPS is dysfunctional and difficult to deal with. But once we were in, we've found it to be a great fit for our children. No school is perfect, but Kennard is pretty close. I can't say enough about the community... More

  • Fantastic free option for families with gifted childrenParent 07/29/2014
The process to get in is arduous but worth it. The parent/family community at the school is part of what makes it such a stellar choice...challenging SLPS and always pushing for improvement.
  • Really great community of teachers, parents and students!Parent 07/29/2014
If you have a bright, inquisitive student that might not be challenged enough in a typical classroom, this school is a great option. The community of parents are friendly, welcoming and plugged into their childrens' education. The teachers are stellar (it's a coveted place to teach, so you have to be... More
