  • KIPP stands for the Knowledge is Power Program. KIPP Victory Academy is located in the West End neighborhood and is KIPP St. Louis' first elementary school. We are adding a grade per year, eventually serving grades K-4.
  • Housed in the Mitchell School, named for two brothers, Joseph Everett Mitchell (1876-1952) and William Mitchell (1878-1945), founders and publishers of the St. Louis Argus. Joseph was a veteran of the Spanish-American War.
  • Teachers conduct homes visits with new families to establish a relationship and meet parents before the school year begins.

    This school changed my children's way of thinking. They are college bound. They are talking about college and they can tell you the year they graduate high school and go to college. They began reading well in kindergarden check out the kids test scores and unbelievable and behavior you must see....
