Our son is getting ready to begin 2nd grade at PCS. He loves it and so do we! Since the day we found out he would be attending, the school has been nothing but welcoming, from a sign in the yard to the administrators knowing his name on the first day! The whole school fosters a culture of respect and caring for your fellow students. The teachers are accommodating and willing to try different strategies to reach your child on their level. Every student has PE every day, as well as multiple recesses. We also really appreciate the diversity of the school. I would recommend PCS to any parent living in the city!

My daughter has attended for 3 years, and I love their motto of "Respect, Responsibility & Caring". Every teacher so far has been great at bringing out the best in my child. Not only is she thriving here, she is in Quest (a gifted pullout program), choir and girls on the run. The school also celebrates with a peace rally, and a multicultural day. The staff help daily with making sure the children arrive and depart safely with crosswalk duty. A great mix of traditional education and character awareness. Also, after dealing with the bureaucracy of the St Louis City Public Schools, this is a breath of fresh air - approachable staff, willing to listen to suggestions and make improvements.
