  • Tuition includes lunch. Tuition assistance is available for qualifying students through a grant program. Maximum assistance is 90% of tuition plus educational expenses. Monies are allotted as needs warrant and funds permit. These monies are not required to be repaid to the school.

  • Kindness, honesty, respect and responsibility are the core traits of the character education program offered at Rossman. These "Rossman Rules" are woven into academics, extracurriculars and interpersonal interactions. This comprehensive approach to character education sets Rossman apart from other schools.
  • Rossman employs a unique model of team teaching at all grade levels for language arts, mathematics and physical education. Specialty teachers provide leadership in art, foreign languages, library/media, music, science and social studies.
  • The Afterschool Sports program is offered for free by Rossman's physical education teachers to students in grades 3 through 6. Though primarily a recreational program, some inter-school competition is offered.
  • Rossman's 20-acre campus includes a 45,000 square foot facility designed specifically for elementary school children, an athletic field with a state-of-the art polyurethane track, two playgrounds, and wooded nature trails.
  • Every student has physical education class every day, and Upper School students have the opportunity to join the free Afterschool Sports program. Developmentally appropriate exercises and skills are taught through exposure to a variety of lifetime sports, fitness and other activities.
  • Extracurriculars: Afterschool Enrichment Program courses offer instruction for Rossman students wishing to participate in a specialized activity. Courses vary by grade level and may include such options as art, cooking, dance, filmmaking, foreign languages, music, robotics, sewing, and theatre. Rossman Singers, Student Council, Cub Scouts and Girl Scouts are also offered, as well as a free Afterschool Sports program.
  • Parent Involvement: The Parents' Club is a fund-raising and friend-raising organization that leads numerous events, from cultural enrichment and wellness programs for the children to flower sales and auctions.
