  • "Our robust support staff to scholar ratio allows us to offer the resources and supports that ensure the success of every one of our scholars. From social skills groups to support for families in transition or homeless, we ensure that zip codes do not dictate a child's (success) story. We follow a year-round academic model combats the effects of summer learning loss."
  • "Our scholars do not wait until high school for college exposure. Instead, they have the opportunities to participate in college visits starting in sixth grade. Our Early College Program is offered to juniors and seniors so they can earn up to 20 college credit hours on local campuses at no cost to them or their families. Furthermore, we work with each student to build individualized academic plans with targeted interventions-- allowing scholars to average 1.5-2 years of growth each school year. "
  • "We foster a 'family atmosphere,' meaning our staff knows the names and stories of our scholars. This allows staff members to strike a balance between encouraging school spirit and culture while still valuing each scholar as an individual with their own unique strengths and needs."
  • Offers an Early College High School program in which all students will spend at least some time on college campuses, earning college credit while in high school.
  • See their Missouri Charter School Application:
  • Extracurriculars: Boys basketball, girls basketball, yoga club, chess club, robotics club, cheerleading, cross country, track, sewing club, and student council
  • Special Education: "We offer full special education services and currently 15% of our scholars qualify for special education. We have a 'push in' philosophy."
  • Parent Involvement: "Parent involvement is an integral portion of our school's success, and we seek to increasingly integrate parents into the culture of our school through not only communication with their own child, but through volunteer opportunities in the school. I'm consistently impressed by how much the teachers here encourage both academic and personal growth. Both in and out of the classroom, teachers urge students to work hard, assume responsibility, and demonstrate respect.
