  • Focus: Constructivist Learning Theory through Project/Problem Based Learning. Constructivist teaching fosters critical thinking, and creates motivated and independent learners.
  • "First Class Outdoor Classroom"
  • Various Family Activities and Special School Events: Wheels Night, Trunk or Treat, Wilkie Bear Trait Days, Fall Festival, Service Learning Projects.
  • All students receive daily Art, Music, Physical Education, Library and Computer Lab classes
  • Technology in every classroom
  • Extracurriculars: Girl Scouts, Cub Scouts and Wilkie Bear Soccer Team

  • Special Education: Offers services such as speech, occupational therapy, and physical therapy. We have a resource room, self-contained classrooms, and a Special Education Autism Classroom.
  • Parent Involvement: Parents are welcome to volunteer as room parents and participate in the activities of the school. Wilkinson has a very involved PTO who plan fundraisers and other events to support the school community. Our parents understand that it is their presence and support that makes our school one of finest in the district.
